Okay, so here is the LARGEST cookie recipe I have ever found.
They taste great!
The recipe makes 13 dozen! Enough to keep in your freezer all summer!
They don't take that long to make! 1 hour with no interruptions. (unless you have children)
They have everything you can possibly imagine in them!
So Yummy!!
Cream together in the mixer -
1 lb of butter (4 sticks)
3 lbs peanut butter (6 cups)
2 lbs brown sugar (4 1/2 cups)
4 cups white sugar
Mix in a separate bowl and add slowly to mixer -
12 eggs
8 t baking soda
1/4 cup vanilla
18 cups quick oatmeal (42 oz packages)
1 lbs nuts (optional)
12 oz chocolate chips
1 large package M&M's
1 1/2 cups flour (optional) Flour makes the cookies rounded.
Divide the creamed ingredients in two, and add the creamed ingredients to the dry ingredient bowls -
When everything is mixed well you are ready to bake and freeze -
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes
To Freeze put a few cups of dough on a square foot piece of waxed paper and mold into 8 - 12 inch long roll - (see picture above)
Wrap roll in waxed paper and place in freezer bag to freeze - (can stay in freezer for up to one year according to http://www.fsis.usda.gov/factsheets/Egg_Products_and_Food_Safety/index.asp)
Wow!! Thanks for posting the recipe, Amber! We'll have to try making these soon!
